Rib number and angle dictated by the
number of tool mounting stations.
16 Tooling Stations requires 16 ribs at
an angle of 22.5 degrees.

A Ribbed Composite Disc increases the Shear Modulus of the structure and can be designed
to offer the same bending stiffness and subsequent deflection of comparable thickness discs
manufactured from Aluminum.
This means that products manufactured from these Ribbed
Composite Disc's can directly replace existing Aluminum Disc's
already in service.
Ribbed Composite Disc's can be designed with ribs from both Carbon Fiber or
Glass Cloth depending on loading.
The Ribbed Composite Disc have a
plane web adhesively bonded to the
laminate and skin.
